FAQ

How much does PayPal charge on $100?

With PayPal Checkout in the US: 3.49% × $100 + $0.49 = $3.98, so you receive $96.02. From an international buyer, add 1.5%.

How do I calculate what to charge to receive an exact amount?

Amount to request = (target + fixed fee) ÷ (1 − percentage rate), rounded up to the cent. The reverse calculator does this and checks the rounding.

Does PayPal refund fees on refunds?

Check PayPal’s current fee page and user agreement; this calculator does not model refunds.
