FAQ

What is the MPF for FY2027?

For formal entries, 0.3464% of value with a minimum of $34.58 and maximum of $670.86, effective October 1, 2026 (CBP Dec. 26-14).

Is there still an $800 de minimis exemption?

No. CBP’s FAQ states the suspension applies to merchandise valued at $800 or less from all countries, via all modes including mail, except separately authorized cases such as bona fide gifts.

Why isn’t the duty rate built in?

It depends on the exact 10-digit HTS classification, origin and any additional tariffs, which change often. We link to the official USITC schedule instead of guessing.
